Beneficial Stockholders
If you hold eBay stock in an account in your name with a brokerage firm (e.g., Charles Schwab, E*Trade, Fidelity, Merrill Lynch), bank trustee or other agent, you are a "beneficial stockholder." If this is the case, your annual report and proxy statement is sent to your broker, who then forwards it to you. You can still sign up for electronic delivery of proxy materials, as long as your brokerage firm offers electronic delivery of these documents.
